We have been completely satisfied with the service that Jane Idzi has provided over the last twelve years. We completed the sale of our house in the Munger Place historic district after an interesting selling process. We listed our house just before Christmas several years ago, and with Jane’s help in pricing in a challenging market, we had a very good offer on it in less than a month. Things proceeded smoothly towards our February 22nd closing date up until 24 hours prior to the actual signing. Apparently the buyer (a single man, or so we thought) was in the process of a messy divorce, and his wife refused to sign the deed of trust. During this time, Jane had continued to talk with a couple who had seen the house in early January and loved it. They had not made an offer, however, because they had not yet sold their house.
On the night the first buyer informed us of his “problem”, Jane tracked down the other couple, who were on business in New York City. They had just sold their house. Immediately following the first buyer’s default on our contract, Jane greeted us with the news that she had a new one signed! She even managed to obtain the first buyer’s earnest money without any complications.
Jane had represented us in 1998 as a buyer’s agent. While she was primarily working in the Highland Park/University Park areas at the time, she did a great deal of research into the historic districts of Dallas.Following the close on our house in Munger Place, she proceeded to obtain her certification in historic homes. Needless to say, we were very satisfied with her service then, and that’s why we chose her as our listing agent for this transaction.
As a professor of marketing, I often teach about customer satisfaction with service providers. Very often customers are quick to complain, but rarely are they quick to compliment. Because Jane has continued to exceed our expectations both professionally and personally, I wanted to let you know what a great job she has done for us! My only regret is that she cannot represent me in my next transaction (in Colorado)….
